Leading in Turbulent Times

Christian Ethics is Absolute will of God....
The moral character of our God does not change, so it goes without saying that moral obligations from his nature would be absolute. It is always binding everywhere on everyone. Now not everything God wills flows from his unchangiing nature. The best example, is God chose to test Adam and Eve's moral obedience by forbidding them to eat a specific fruit on a tree. Althought it was morally wrong for Adam and Eve to disobey that command, we are no longer bound by that command today. That command was based on God's will and di not flow from his nature.
Now looking a little further, God's command not to murder, (kill , destroy )applied before the law was given to Moses, under the law of Moses and since the time of Moses. Murder is wrong at all times and all places for all people.
We are created in the image of God; this includes a moral likeness to God. That includes such moral obligations as holiness, justice, love, truthfulness and mercy. The command flowing from God's will are binding on a believer. An absolute moral duty is binding on all people at all times and in all places.
Let us all strive to do our part for the greater good of everyone we encompass daily.
God Bless You.....
