DO YOU KNOW WHAT A NECROPHILIAC IS? YOU SHOULD FIND OUT; YOU JUST MIGHT BE ONE: THE LOVE OF SIN! Proverbs 26:11

Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, [so] a fool returneth to his folly.

A NECROPHILIAC IS ONE WHO LIKES TO MAKE LOVE TO DEAD PEOPLE AND/OR ANIMALS! You will take note that I said, "MAKE LOVE"; for in the mind of a NECROPHILIAC this is what they are doing: "MAKING LOVE". In the mind of a sane person it is simply "HAVING SEX", BUT IN THE MIND OF A NECROPHILIAC IT IS "MAKING LOVE". So goes the spiritual mentality of so many, indeed; TOO MANY SAINTS OF GOD! WE LOVE TO "MAKE LOVE TO DEAD THINGS"!

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

By the crucifixion and burial of the Lord Jesus Christ, WE ARE DEAD TO SIN: BUT IS SIN DEAD TO US?

Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, bishops, deacons, deaconess, ministers, choir members, ushers, praise song leaders, armor bearers, wives, husbands, men, women, teens, and on and on in the Kingdom of God! NO ONE IS EXEMPTED! MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST ARE PRACTICING “SPIRITUAL NECROPHILIA”. MAKING LOVE TO DEAD SIN! THEY LOVE IT!

James 1:6 but let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.

Oh come on: YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT! I know I did when I was double minded! And with as much faith as I had, as many times that God responded to that faith; I WAS MISSING OUT ON THE FULLNESS OF THE BLESSINGS OF GOD! You didn’t miss it did you? “For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord”. We are blessed that we get any blessings from God at all. Yet He blesses us! And at the same time WE MISS OUT ON THE FULLNESS OF GOD’S BLESSINGS!

I remember when I finally came to the reality of my problem with LETTING GO OF SIN AND TO STOP MAKING LOVE TO DEAD THINGS. I was at Bible Study (this was really Bible Study for there was the opportunity to have exchange and to ask questions: ANYTHING ELSE IS BIBLE LECTURING AT BEST), and I was thoroughly convicted of the sin in my life. I sat in my seat crying; FOR I KNEW; I DIDN’T LOVE GOD ENOUGH!</</u>b> I told this to my pastor and confess all the sin in my life: AND GOD HEALED ME!

Matthew 22:36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Since that time I SEEK TO LOVE GOD WITH ALL THAT I AM AND HAVE!

Getting over “SPIRITUAL NECROPHILIA” is like getting over any other ADDICTION: YOU HAVE TO ADMIT THAT WE HAVE SIN IN OUR LIVES AND THAT WE LOVE IT! (It will only hurt for a little while). Then we must turn our lives over to God. For those who know, this sounds like the 12 steps of Alcoholic Anonymous doesn’t it? Well it is just like the 12 steps! So I am posting them with appropriate changes:

1. We admitted we were powerless over “SPIRITUAL NECROPHILIA” - that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that God; a Power greater than ourselves, could restore us to sanity and obedience.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God according to His Word.

4. Made a searching and fearless spiritual inventory of ourselves.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked Him to remove our sins.

8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take personal spiritual inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to Necrophiliacs and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

BY WAY OF TESTIMONY I CAN ASSURE YOU: YOUR LIFE ON EARTH WILL BE OH SO MUCH BETTER!
